Three-star H.D. Woodson (D.C.) defensive back Noah Boykin committed to Maryland football Wednesday, keeping the Terps’ recruiting momentum rolling. He’s the sixth target to commit to Maryland in the last 20 days.
Boykin, who could play either safety or cornerback in college, is listed at 6’2, 170 pounds and ranked the No. 47 cornerback in the country and the No. 3 prospect in the District, per the 247Sports Composite.
He’s now the 14th commit in the Class of 2018, which jumps from No. 20 to No. 17, passing College Football Playoff participant Washington, North Carolina, and Big Ten foes Michigan and Nebraska, per the 247Sports team rankings. The move also puts the Terps at No. 3 in the Big Ten, behind Ohio State and Penn State.
